For once it’s nice to hear someone say that they have my back and support my dreams. I haven’t had that in the longest time and it’s such a nice change. The sad thing is, it’s not from my parents but from an old friend. Shouldn’t be that way.

Kind of glad I dropped being a captain and went for historian this year. So much less stress!

Conquered that fear of roller coasters one at a time this weekend. I used to hate going on them, but after being peer pressured into all of them by my boyfriend, Nick, and all the other people in our group, I’m glad I went on them. There is nothing like the 90 degree angle drop on the Griffon. Especially when you are sitting there looking straight down over the edge while it holds you there for 4 or 5 seconds before letting you drop into a free fall. Forget breathing. I’m pretty sure you can’t on some of these. It was such a rush, and I am so glad that I went on this trip with my fellow band and guard kids. This has been the best experience I have had since joining guard back in seventh grade. I feel bad for those that missed out on this trip, you missed a fabulous one!

Keep dreaming, they’re not all nightmares.
